Founded in 1981, Goro Tours srl ( originally named Goro Tours di Gorini Paolo) is the longest-established Maritime Agency operating in the port of Pesaro.

We operated in the 1980s with small tonnage cargo ships (those allowed by the port’s draught) with all kinds of goods for export. The primary destination was Libya. We also operated with container ships, also destined to Libya, but over the years, commercial traffic gradually decreased until we only had stone ships importing from Croatia.

Once those too ended, the port had several years of decline that seemed unstoppable until our agency discovered passenger traffic.

In addition to fast ship passengers, we also started cruise traffic (on our own initiative) and are now considered an example of efficiency among the smaller Adriatic sea ports.

Goro Tours srl is also the dealer of the Maritime Station of the port of Pesaro.

We operate as a PFSO (PORT FACILITY SECURITY OFFICER) and in this way we provide berthing facilities for ships making international travels.

We operate as a Vigilance Institute with our own staff of GPG (special security guards) certified and authorised by decree to operate in Italian ports.

We take care of the boarding/deboarding of passengers from ships in cooperation with the authorities in charge of institutional controls.

From 2023 we also have an anchorage point, located 1.5 miles from the port access, for very big ships and yachts that cannot enter into the port. The anchorage point is an integral part of the Port Facility and we can accommodate ships and yachts on international trips under the ISPS code. Ships and yachts may use their tenders to transport passengers to the land.

The two anchorage points for berthing passenger ships are identified as follows:

Anchorage point no. 1 – located at lat. 43° 56‘.96 N – long. 012° 54’.52 E

Anchorage point no. 2 – located at lat. 43° 57‘.09 N – long. 012° 56’.40 E (alternative point)

We already have nine voyages scheduled for 2026, from June to August, for  M/v  STAR CLIPPER ( a five-masted saling ship) , which has chosen to stop in the anchorage point  of Pesaro to give passengers the opportunity to go on excursions to San Marino, as well as visit the beauty of our province.

The port is also suitable for docking and stopping supply vessels authorized by the Pesaro Port Authority on behalf of E.N.I. to provide support to gas extraction platforms in the Adriatic. The supply vessels handle technical transport to and from the platforms and are available 24/7 for all operational needs of the platform staff. For supply vessels, we can provide assistance with arrival and departure formalities, bunkering, crew embarkation and disembarkation, as well as all requests for on-board visits and certificate renewals with the maritime authority.
